As usual my stay at the Escape was relaxing, from the smooth check in with friendly staff, to check out.. My only issue this week was the draft from outside was somehow getting through into my room, which meant keeping the heaters on longer than normal.

Overall this property is excellent. Mattress for me a alittle soft but got used to it after a couple of days. Staff are excellent,helpful and cant do enough to be of service. Although they dont do breakfast as a option there's a excellent food wagon on their rear car park that does excellent breakfast and lunch options. Will definitely stay again in the near future

The advertisement of the property while booking said a microwave oven and a refrigerator availability. But those two weren’t available in the room. There was no lift. Had to carry my suitcase to 2nd floor. There was no staff at the reception when I came back after dinner. Had to call to understand the process to enter the building. It didn’t feel looked after.

Overall absolutely great standard

Everything was just perfect, receptionist very helpful and thoughtful, room of equal standard, unfortunately one thing that let it down. No anti slip mat in the shower which made it quite dangerous, however receptionist used initiative and gave us floor towels to put onto the shower floor, all slip worries completely gone away.

Great check in with free parking permit. Although i was put on the top floor and nearly at the end of the corridor and no lift, i got the excersize I needed. No AC, but a tower fan was much welcomed. TV a decent size, great overhead shower.

Great hotel.

Great hotel in a converted forner print works. Smart, stylish, clean, comdortable. Fridge and microwave oven in room. Near 2 supermarkets. Quiet despite being quite near a busy road. Easy to find. Short walk from station and town. Pleasant staff. Easy check in/out. Really cannot find fault. Will be my first choice next time in Barrow.

Like I said previously. We didn’t stay, might as well have gone into a travelodge. Only booked for the facilities but then got told there were none. Terrible. Then shoved into a pokey little room near the service entrance. Doesn’t matter how much your room is you should still be treated like a guest.

We were met by kind employees from the minute we entered the hotel, who enabled us to check in early and offered to help us carry our luggage to our rooms. The rooms were modern and spotless. If you have any queries about the region, the staff are very educated and happy to assist you. I would return without a doubt!

This looks like an old building which has been renovated, it doesn’t look too impressive from the outside but it’s REALLY REALLY NICE! Very modern rooms and facilities, I was delighted to find this hotel and will definitely use it again.
