Find another hotel

We did not stay the night. The hallways reeked of urine. The dresser was torn apart and unusable. The bathroom was dirty. The headboard wasn’t even attached to the bed frame. Most importantly, the door to the room wouldn’t shut from the inside. I noticed the door frame was bent before we left for an event, but we were able to close the door from the outside. When we got back the door key worked but the door latch wouldn’t release to open the door. Maintenance had to pry the door open with a crowbar. Now I know that this has been done in the past which is why the frame was bent. All amenities were closed for one reason or another. When we told the front desk about the door issue, the clerk was not apologetic at all, they didn’t even seem to care. Disgusting property, don’t stay here.

Worst hotel in Ft Lauderdale

this was one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. The floors were dirty and sticky could not take my socks off in the room. There was no fridge, no microwave, no phone, no alarm clock the tv was internet that did not work and never did get it working. There was a broken picture hanging on the wall. If you want a nice place don't go here.

SMELLS AND HAS COCKROACHES

When I first arrived, an employee was standing at the front entrance, smoking weed and then when I approached the counter, I was ignored by both employees while they were having a discussion. I only stayed here one night and was tempted to sleep in my car, especially after seeing a cockroach run across the floor. The bed didn't have a blanket on it, just a sheet, there was hair in the shower that wasn't mine and the hotel is very rundown and smells and I would never recommend anyone to stay there.

The condition of this place is pretty bad. If you can afford to another place, please do so. At least the front desk lady was friendly enough to talk to. Can’t say much more since I left right after checking in. God Bless.

Avoid at All Cost

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel is located in a bad neighborhood, and we arrived around midnight after a late flight, only to find the conditions were absolutely unacceptable. People were constantly coming and going, making us feel uneasy. We were given three different rooms, each in horrible condition. One room had an overwhelming number of fruit flies, another was unmade with dirty sheets, and the third had a strong bleach smell that was unbearable. None of the rooms were remotely clean or safe. We only stayed for about four hours before we had to leave because someone started banging on our door. It felt unsafe, and we couldn’t wait to get out of there. The overall experience was horrendous, and I highly advise against booking this hotel. Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere else to stay!

Háganse un favor y no elijan este lugar! Parece un albergue para personas de la calle! No hay más cucarachas porque no caben.. cuando llegue la mujer de la recepción sencillamente dijo que el hotel estaba lleno y no habían respetado ninguna reservación, había mucha gente en la misma situación. Después de un buen rato, como a las 11 pm decidió liberar habitaciones. El hotel es asquerosamente sucio y en pésima condición. ( March 29 -30 Plaza Hotel Fort Lauderdale) Check in at this hotel is horrific only one customer only service person and she’s been here since 12 o’clock the night before with no help lobby was not clean smelled like cigarettes this place was more like a residential hotel for the those getting a 2nd chance at life again God is good but they should tell you that because you will be very surprise when you get here especially for $200 dollars for a one night stay and the picture of the building on the website are nothing like the place when you get here trust me on the hotel.com website it rate 3 1/2 stars this place is a 2 star on there best day this is my best honest review of this place our on googles are better and true not on hotels.com on the other hand this place is very busy I guess it must be very close to the port authority stay just overnight to cruise the next morning it must be convenient to use if you sleep standing up against the wall with your clothes on sitting on top of your luggage so the roaches don’t get you (he ran, couldn’t get a picture of him) but I do have a picture of the bed so I hope this helps you in choosing a good hotel because I would never stay in this one Best regards *** Front desk solution was the changes to another room.
