"The Petra Nera is in a great location. Near a good selection of walkable tavernas, on the bus route, 2 min walk from the hotel. The hotel itself is on a steep slope but it employs two drivers who will take you up and down if you need it, from 8am to 12midnight. There is a small pool and nice pool bar. The pool villas are wonderful and well worth it, comfy beds and fabulous sunbed. Breakfast is not bad, repetitive and limited but ok. Nice touch there is a barista making coffees to order."

"A fantastic hotel with wonderful, warm & friendly staff. Great communication with the reception team, loved being picked up and dropped off at the port in a golf buggy. The hotel is spotless, cleaned meticulously daily and nice touches in the room (hair dryer, robe, slippers, kettle). Superb breakfast, fantastic pool area and the loungers are ridiculously comfortable too, we even made use of the fairly well equipped gym. There’s only one place we’ll be booking when we go back to Skopelos."

"Hotel Elivi is the best hotel on Skiathos. You don't need to leave the hotel. It has everything! Beaches, bars, and restaurants within walking distance. There's also a market next door for snacks, drinks, souvenirs. The area is so tranquil and peaceful for anyone needing a reset. It is a little far from Skiathos town and airport. "It's worth staying here just for the view. Happily there's more reasons than that though. We spent 3 nights at Lagou Raxi and we all loved it, including my teens. The views from the hotel are spectacular whether you are on your room balcony, eating a meal on the porch or relaxing at the pool. The hotel is like a little oasis.
