"The place was perfect! The space was big, the bed was big and the toilet was big! We felt really comfortable and made the mistake of staying inside for far too long when Kumamoto has so much to offer. It was also walkable to the castle and the shopping arcade. There was even a massage chair in our room! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will stay in other Daiwa hotels in our future stay."

"Almost perfect. Staffs are not good in english but very engaging. We can communicate with google translate very well. Onsen is amazing. Room is huge with two sinks in the bath and seperate room from the toilet. Two little things that could get better is the place of towel and onsen clothes are somehow in the draw under the television. Which I found it weird. Also the tap in the sink is other way round which you press downward for water and close upwards."

"This was our favorite apartment accomodation in Japan. Very comfortable and enough space for 2 and in a great location. We could walk to the station and to the city center and castle. "The hotel is very convenient above the train station. The shape of the rooms are a little odd but clean and well maintained. We needed to do laundry so I have recommendations about that. There were three combination washer/dryers in the bath areas of the men and of the women. These were not sufficient because they took a long time and didn’t dry the clothes very well without repeated use of the dryer cycle. That meant there were always people waiting for long stretches. While the availability of the machines was on the in-house monitors in the rooms, this wasn’t sufficient to overcome the way the machines actually worked. This is a big hotel and needs to figure out how to handle the laundry situation."
