"Room itself was great. Hallway had an unpleasant odor. Ice machines were not working. "

"The hotel part is very nice, rooms are clean when you arrive but you do not get housekeeping in to get trash, refresh towels etc. we stayed four days and had 2 rooms. I bought trash bags to keep the room from being a mess. They give little trash cans and no liners. So take extra stuff if you need it for cleanup. We ate at several of their restaurants and the best was on 3 rd floor for breakfast. Staff is very nice there. I took my mother in a wheelchair to get coffee at what we were told was a coffee shop and a place to get smoothies and they didn't sell coffee. They said you can get it on the ffloor - no way I was going to wheel her through all that to find a coffee station. On wed when we arrived I went to same place to get smoothy and they were out of mix, on sun when we went they were still out of mix. Worker said not sure they know they needed to order it. If there to only gamble and sleep IIm sure you’ll enjoy it. We were there for a wedding in town and the layout is very odd.. a good place to get some good coffee and quick bite closer to hotel would be great. Not much shopping, etc. clean and nice rooms Staff was hit or miss if you asked questions or got a bell hop. Also places are open and closed or certain days of the week. "

"It is a fair distance from Notre Dame, so lodgers have to take time of travel into account. One other point: the elevators are VERY slow."

"Breakfast was standard for best western. Rooms need updating (pull out couch was is terrible condition). On a personal note, I hate carpets in the rooms. "

"Checked in at 8 pm with a cranky front desk attendant. Not enough towels in room. Remote needed new batteries. Breakfast ran out of food and did not replenish even though people were streaming in. Sofa bed mattress was stained. Pool closed all day Sunday. Positives: main bed okay. Bathroom clean and updated. Parking adequate. "

"Towels were crunchy, I think I had a faulty room the shower would fill up to above the top of my feet before draining consistently (still above my feet but not continuing to fill)."

"It was good . Pool was pretty clean , Staff was good . Except at check out - could have been alittle friendlier for the price you pay for the room . Also breakfast should be Free to Everyone ! Not have to pay extra! You pay a high price to stay there Then they charge more to be able to eat . Should be complimentary to Everyone ! Had a big bag of wet towels sitting outside the door all night Where front desk said to put them . It was a busy 3 day weekend - assumed they would want them to get them washed. But they were still there at check out."

"I’m 9 months pregnant, booked a stay for a week with 3 children on my reservation, paid 575$ and some change, the elevator was broken. Didn’t tell me until after I paid. The room had dirty walls and a cigarette burn on the toilet seat. "
