"They did not have our room ready until 6:30pm. Requested a call from the manager, never received it. The room they gave us was very far in a corner without reception. Not even wifi was working. No housekeeping. Not your usual hotel. Would not stay there again "

"The ROLM WAS VERY CLEAN AND THATS THR BEST EVERYTHING WAS GOOD BUT NO COMPS AND FOR MY BIRTHDAY NO FREE PLAY?! OH WELL NOT IMPRESSED WITH THAT AT ALL IT WAS KIND OF BORING TOO ! "

"The staff were fine, no problem there. The room was very small, meh, but the bathroom smelled strongly of cat urine. I love cats, they should be allowed in hotels, but y'all gotta get some Nature's Miracle or something for when one of them pees in a room. The shower floor was very chipped up and nasty looking, the toilet seat scratched up. It's right in a busy shopping center by the freeway, so it was loud all night, plus random hotel guests screaming in the middle of the night and being generally noisy all night long. Very hard bed. Unpleasant stay overall, didn't bother showering in the cat pee bathroom. "

"Outstanding staff and communication. Location was just a few miles from the beach and other attractions. Bed was comfy and shower had amazing water pressure. Breakfast was great with lots of different choices and I felt very safe there traveling alone. I will return the next time I am in Carlsbad. Thank you so much to everyone!!"

"The parking was easy. The room was clean. The staff was very helpful. We were visiting friends in the area and so this was the closest hotel. It is right off the highway so there is highway noise but once you close the door, it’s fine. The air conditioner worked well. The TV remote control was ana very cheap universal remote, and ineffective. You can go up and down with the channels and the volume, but there is no ability to get to a guide or know what channel you’re on. we didn’t use the TV that much so we just dealt with it but if you use the TV a lot, it is annoying. "
