Hotels in Haile Plantation

"The staff was welcoming and nice. The room was clean enough although there was carpeting in the bedroom area which is not hygienic when so many people are brining in 2 dogs. Our room on 3rd floor had serious noise issues from people walking above us. The hotel apparently has no soundproofing and the foot falls of people above us were crazy loud keeping us awake past midnight. The bathroom is cramped and door nearly hits toilet. The elevator makes chime sounds that are excessively loud and irritating. Would not stay here again. "

"Parking is a huge problem at this location. Parking garage was 3 blocks from hotel and was $30.00 per day. Booked 2 rooms for myself and my sister and they couldn't put our rooms together. Not cool, what if we had children traveling with us?"

"Everyone there was super friendly from my check-in where the front desk (Frank I believe) and the manager helped me find info on local activities to the housekeeping staff that were all friendly when passing to the wonderful lady that kept everything clean and well stocked at breakfast. Convenient location to restaurants, gas, and activities. "

"If you are a traveler that likes to control the room temperature during your stay, you will be disappointed.I was told that the room temperature can’t be raised even though it’s 40 degrees outside during the night that you’ll have to accept the uncomfortable environment or they would try to raise the temperature by someone who oversees the thermostat function, needless to say nothing changed during the night."

"My sisters surgery at Shands was postponed and they charged me the full price for both nights! Didn't even let me cancel with a 1 night penalty. That is inhuman."

"Most of the said amenities during booking not working. Checked in and when changed for fitness time; I was told it’s not working- this was parts of my main interests when I chose the hotel. Smoke detector in my room out of battery and noisy beeping all the night- reported to the front desk 3 different times all the day until fixed in the next night."
