"Room was very clean. Amazing view of the sunset and beach. Walked to the beach very easily. The restaurant on floor 11 was amazing and indoor so not cold very warm and service + food was incredible. Very friendly staff and we were able to walk to La Jolla to see the seals but it was very up hill ,take uber if you’re not an active person. The best part of this hotel was how dog friendly they are. Very accommodating we had a blast. "

"The perfect location for exploring San Diego. Everything is 10-20 mins away. Lovely quiet area and great for kids with the park and playground right there. Love the food market and other places near by. Even enjoyed watching the planes takeoff over the bay. Rooms were good, grounds well kept. But the location can't be understated amazing location."

"Myself and my children have tried a few hotels in the Carlsbad/ Encinitas area and wish we had tried the Holiday Inn first. While it’s 15-20 minutes drive from the coast, it felt more modern and clean than other similar hotels closer to the coast. No charge for working, lovely big pool, beds and bedding were lovely, good shower and water pressure. Will stay again for sure. "
