Hotels in Historic Downtown Savannah

"The kitchen was fully stocked; unfortunately, we were only there for really a full 24 hours, so we didn't use it. We did use the washer/dryer. Only thing I can suggest to other patrons, please adhere to the noise policy of 9:00 pm to 8:00 am. We had new patrons in the apartment above us the day after we arrived and it was so noisy that we couldn't sleep. I didn't know how to inform the staff of this issue and not really sure what could have been done, but I'm grateful we had one night of...

"The apartment is in a fantastic location next to the City Market, right next to tons of restaurants and cafes. The only downside of the location is that it is very loud at night, so you might want to bring ear plugs. The apartment is clean and well equipped with a small kitchenette that is good for making coffee and having a breakfast cereal or warming up a dish, not for any real cooking - which you shouldn't do anyway giving the amazing choice of restaurants in its vicinity. One hint: the door...

"What a beautiful house! It is obviously very old, but updated quite nicely. And it was so nice for almost every room to have its own bathroom. It is also a great central location - a short walk one way to the river and a short walk the other way towards Forsythe Park. Having a dedicated parking spot was also a plus. "The hotel is beautiful. I Shocked that it’s only listed as a 3 *. It should be a 4 star hotel. It’s immaculate. Breakfast choices in the hotel were good. The room was spacious. The shower had amazing pressure and the hotel is 4 weeks old. I would highly recommend. It is close to highlights in Savannah and very close to the convention center. I would definitely stay here again."

"This is a beautiful historic home right on Forsyth Park. They serve a plated breakfast each morning and a delicious dessert each evening in the parlor. There is a wonderful porch overlooking the park where we had our breakfast. We had many friendly interactions with several of the staff members and they gave us several local restaurant options that were walkable. And actually we walked from the Forsyth Park Inn to most everywhere in the historic district. We can’t wait to go back."
