"It is an ageing relic of bygone times. It has been well looked after , and it felt like stepping back in time. The bed was comfortable and warm. All the basics were there. It was very peaceful. The man on reception was helpful and friendly."

"I have to say one of the most awful places I've ever stayed. The room didn't look anything like the photos on the Hotels website. So cruddy and old-fashioned, especially the shower and bedroom. The stick-on "bedhead" was ridiculous. Almost everything looks like it's seen better days and could do with a decent clean or other maintenance. Grossly over-priced for what it was. Won't be staying here again and wouldn't recommend. Disappointing..."
