Nanputuo Temple is just one of the places to see in Xiamen, so why not enjoy the other things to explore during your travels? While you're in the area, wander around the gardens.
You can stroll along Wutong Passenger Wharf for relaxing water views when you're in Huli District. If you carry on walking you'll get to Wuyuan Yacht Harbour for some more water views.
