"Hotel is new, which was great but felt like they were not prepared for the public holiday + school holiday crowd. Everything was slow. We had to wait 30+ minutes to be served our drinks (a tea and a beer as well as some tap water) and close to 45 mins for our food during 4pm period at their Klon Tong restaurant. Staffs quoted kitchen was not operational yet so they only use 1 central kitchen and they were busy (?!), all we see are 5-6 people cramping at the bar area not sure what they were doing.. the next day, we had to queue to even get a table during the breakfast buffet. The breakfast spread was good but food quality was so so. There was also a lizard in our room (Garden View) and a 10-minute power outage for god knows what reason. To give credit, the staffs tried their best to be hospitable but they are not able to answer or solve our pain points there and then which was really frustrating. There’s definitely a lot more rooms for improvement! "
"Gorgeous hotel with very smiley, friendly, helpful staff. Particular mention to Rizki who works in the restaurant.
Yummy breakfasts, though dnners average. Suggest you avoid the typically Western dishes unless you like dry meat; instead choose the Indonesian dishes which were flavourful.
I recommend this hotel."
"We recently stayed at this resort and left feeling very disappointed. Our two-bedroom villa was beautiful—clean, spacious, and with stunning views—but unfortunately the positive experience ended there.
Service throughout the stay was consistently poor. We waited 45 mins for a buggy on arrival, with further waits of up to 30 mins throughout our stay to get anywhere. Calls to reception often went unanswered & room service took 90 mins to arrive despite multiple follow-ups.
Food and beverage service was equally disappointing. Service at the pool bar was slow, & breakfast regularly ran out of food, plates, & cutlery without being replenished quickly enough. During a busy public holiday weekend, the resort appeared unable to cope with guest numbers.
When our son accidentally broke a glass in the villa, it took 30 mins for housekeeping to arrive & clear the area which wasn’t safe with 2 young kids. Our children’s swimwear was stained green by the villa pool &, although the resort offered complimentary cleaning, the stains remained.
To their credit, hotel management acknowledged many of the issues & provided two complimentary meals and 35,000 Marriott Bonvoy points. While appreciated, this did not compensate for the amount of time spent chasing service & dealing with problems during what should have been a relaxing holiday.
Given the premium price point, we did not feel the resort delivered value for money. Sadly, we would not return or recommend it based on our experience."
"New hotel so everything was clean. Great ambience. Very near to Batam Centre Ferry Terminal. Staff was friendly, helpful - amazing service. Hotel smells great.
A good breakfast spread. I particularly love the Indomie counter. Pastries taste excellent.
Will be back here again and hopefully experience the same or even better overall.
Kudos to the whole team!"
