We found Union Port Hotel perfect for our needs. We arrived Istanbul a day before boarding our cruise ship. This hotel is located walking distance to cruise port though recommend a cab as it would be difficult to pull luggage even the relatively short distance. Union Port is a small boutique hotel (and coffee shop) with an exceptionally friendly staff. I have been traveling for the past twenty seven years and this was my fourth trip to Istanbul. Hotel Divan is a classy hotel, close to metro, lots of shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is very clean, good breakfast, beside the buffet guests can order other meals (Omelette, Egg Benedict, Veggie platters). We had a fantastic time at this hotel. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. A huge highlight was the adorable cats outside they greeted us every single time we returned! Location-wise, it’s super convenient and close to everything. The early Turkish breakfast wasn't quite our cup of tea, but it was okay. Overall, an excellent experience!

Strategic location, just minutes walk to Istanbul tourist attractions, tram and metro subway… , room is a bit small but it is ok for a solo traveler (or may be young couple who travel light), property is clean and properly manage 👍

Staff was welcoming and accommodating. The junior suite was well decorated and comfortable. We were made to feel like family and were always comfortable. Hotel is in the heart of the old city, within walking distance or a tram ride from most popular tourist and religious sites.
