8/10 Good
"Rooms were very clean and staff was very accommodating. Parking was nice and clean. Hotel was hard to find since the name of the hotel is not on the building. There are two hotels listed so finding it took two times around the block. The location was not very well for visiting downtown, we walked for 6 miles round trip and only food we found was in China town. There was a nice grocery store around the corner that offered for snacks and sandwiches. For transportation, Ottawa has two “trains” one goes east and west and the other goes north and south. We did not choose either and walked the trail. Apx 48-70 min walk to downtown area. Not much to see in Ottawa felt like other than the government building and museums not much there to see with kids. Food was pretty expensive at the hotel but did offer a sort of side menu with things like chicken fingers and burger. Since it was slow the staff took extra care by stopping by every few minutes while eating to make sure we were ok. There is a bus stop at the end of the block but also construction near by plus behind the hotel is not a very good area with protesters and political propaganda pasted on poles, stores, buildings and anything else they could find with ANTIFA and other political groups. Anything past the grocery store was a no go for us, didn’t feel safe with the family in the evenings and would not go down there at night. Pool was closed as well and not many channels or choices for entertainment when the rainy day hit."

10/10 Excellent
"The staff were really helpful. Our room smelled like cigarettes from the previous guest and they moved us to a new room quickly. Great customer service"
"It's such a beautiful and historic property! The food was very good but quite expensive. There are a few restaurants in town that are also excellent and cheaper."
