This is the 2nd time we have statyed at this property in the last 12 months and we love it. It’s one of a few places that has two queen beds so that’s always a plus for us. The property itself is beautiful and the rooms are roomy and feel very airy. We had a room with the balcony and used it for morning coffee. It’s also nice there is a microwave, mini fridge, plates, cups etc. The location is not right in town but you are right across the st from the beach and they provide a free shuttle around...

The Star is operated by the same group that owns and operates Congress Hall (which is right across the street). The Star is tastefully renovated and immaculate. The proximity to the ocean, washington street mall, eateries, entertainment and downtown cape may is perfect. As a guest of The Star you have access to the amenities of Congress Hall (sweet bonus, the spa is delightful!). The queen rooms at The Star are quite small, but well appointed. I'd highly recommend this property for a weekend...

The Inn as well as the staff are top notch. We felt instantly comfortable and charmed by the place. The night we arrived, they put some out cold beverages and cookies. We were exhausted from driving, so just being able to chill on the porch after checking in with a beverage transitioned us from "travel" mode to "relaxed" mode. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and breakfast both days was delicious. We will definitely be back. Thank you for an amazing weekend getaway!
