The cabins are just that - simple, rustic but they have a full kitchen and there is an outdoor charcoal grill. There is no wi-fi or cell reception at the cabin but the lodge has wi-fi, a restaurant and store as well as casual places to sit and use the wi-fi. The area is lovely for hiking and you are in day-trip range of two National Parks (Arches & Black Canyon). As a solo female traveler, I felt safe both.

We are frequent travelers. This is the best non-resort hotel in which we have ever stayed! The room was exceedingly clean and comfortable. The two restaurants on site were more than adequate. Breakfast was included in the room cost and in my opinion, was much better than any of the chain hotels that include breakfast excepting Embassy Suites. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We will stay here again if we travel to Palisade again.
