"This is my second time in two years staying at the Kokusai Hotel in Sendai. The breakfast is one of the best in Japan, and a good reason to come back. The rooms are very clean and quiet. They tend to be on the smaller side, but are a good value for the price. It would be nice if the front desk staff spoke better English. Communications can be a challenge."

"We were so grateful that the hotel is situated right at the Sendai JR station with direct access. It was a rainy day and our original plan was unfortunately scraped. We were still able to enjoy many great food and shopping right there without getting soaked in the rain. Hotel was clean and well-equipped, particularly appreciated the free soft drinks at the lounge!"
