"The Horwood is in a lovely place ' with good air to breath' but bedroom has no Air conditioning and only provided fan. The only place with air conditioning is the Bar and the drinks are very expensive. It good for winter holidays but not summer for me and wife. If all room has air-conditioning ': then excellent"

Room was clean, quiet, breakfast amazing, been a long time since I had a full English breakfast I could not have asked for better, everything was hot just lovely. Will definitely stay here again! But will ask for room with shower only, had bath with shower and have bad knee so little problem getting into and out of bath, 10 out of 10 loved it."

"Plenty of parking space, and plenty of EV chargers, which, as a car owner new to electric, was very important. The room was very basic, but had everything I needed. Having said which, I am used to tea and coffee making facilities in the room, rather than downstairs. Would have been nice, also, if there had been a proper coffee making machine when you got there, rather than just hot water with instant coffee or tea bags. A bonus, however, was discovering a large pond at the rear of the hotel, something I wasn't expecting."

"Beautiful surrounding. Hotel property is ok. On the first day at the reception I was given a room that takes about 6 minutes to walk,I went with 2 suitcases up a steep hill till the hotel area.the weather was really really hot.was not offered for someone to give me a hand! Then 1 flight up no lift.came there was exhausted as hell.no a/c in the rooms only small fan.did not sleep well 3 nights.in the morning 7.50 a.m working was going on on the roof really loud noise..so could not enjoy some peacefull sleep in the morning. All of this , ,I would not come back to this place."

"The hotel is like an ex council block, not very visually appealing but has a nice reception area once inside. We were overcharged by £100 and the manager says it was for dinner that we never had. We were never told about dinner and dinner was definitely not booked for us. We were told that we had a premium room with extra space; all I can say is I would hate to think what it would have been in a normal sized room, they must have been tiny. We asked for a quiet room and we were given a room opposite a noisy road with an adjoining door to another room which had children who liked to keep banging the door. Instead of giving the money back for the dinner that we never received the manager wants us to go back there again with a discount! We really will not ever be returning."
