"The room was very clean, but cold, receptionist gave us another room as couldn’t get heating to work, had same problem with the next room. She couldn’t get it to work either but brought us a heater which warmed the room very quickly. She was very good & came back later to check it had warmed up. Would definitely recommend hotel to others"

"Very nice modern hotel. Nicely decorated. Hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the historic city centre in a quiet residential area. Has restaurant, bar and a good cafe. Room was very nice Good size, loads of storage space, very good overhead shower. Good size fridge. Leisure facilities include a long but narrow swimming pool with spa jets along one side, steam room and sauna (currently being refurbished so not in use). Very good breakfast buffet plus you can order hot dishes such as fresh porridge and egg dishes. Staff very friendly and helpful. Altogether a nice spot to stay. "

"We often pick the graduate because we love the atmosphere, river views and location. Room was great as always.. Until we dropped something and looked under the bed.. Could do with a hoover. Other than that and the lack of black pudding.. The usual perfect stay. The staff are always welcoming, friendly and attentive. The balcony was bonus, even in December. "

"Beautiful welcome. Staff made it. Signposted well. Funny reception desk and makeshift bar next to it but added to the charm. Room was lovely and bed so very very comfortable."
