10/10 Excellent
"There was a spa and message offer posted all over the property and in the lifts, but when I went to the spa, they refused to honor the offer saying that the posted offer was a mistake and I would need to pay full price. It was disappointing to say the least."
"The front desk service was excellent and provided a great first impression. However, my experience after checking into the room was disappointing.
The housekeeping service was below expectations. Toiletries were not replenished during my stay, and overall attention to room servicing seemed lacking.
Additionally, when I requested extra bottled water, the staff were not helpful and responded rather rudely, stating that only two bottles were provided because we were not club members. The interaction felt unprofessional and did not reflect the level of hospitality expected from the brand.
Housekeeping, in particular, needs significant improvement in both service quality and guest communication. I believe the General Manager should review these service standards to ensure they are aligned with the hotel’s brand reputation and guest expectations."
"Rooms were clean and spacious and the shuttle to the V&A was a great feature. Breakfast buffet was delicious and extensive. I would definitely stay here again"
"We attended a conference at the Cape Town Convention Center right across the street, and so this was incredibly convenient (and much more of a quiet respite than the hotel thus conference organizers chose as their hotel). I would totally recommend this hotel to ANYONE attending a conference at the Cape Town Convention Center."
"I would select this hotel again in a heart beat. Nice property in great location at a reasonable price. Breakfast was excellent as well and included cooked to order options. Staff was way above and beyond in helping. Highly recommended!"
"The hotel is generally fine, but make sure you get a renovated room. For some reason, they tried to put me into one of the decrepit unrenovated rooms, despite having plenty of renovated rooms available. I was staying in the apartment side of the facility.
The front desk staff are unfriendly and not particularly helpful. For example, I paid the exorbitant rate for a late check out so I could stay in the room until my night flight, but the front desk forgot to log that in the system. That resulted in someone pounding on the door in the morning saying I had to get out, until I explained I had arranged for late check out."
"A great establishment with state of the art amenities, friendly staff, and awesome breakfast. My stay at this hotel was enjoyable and relaxing. I'll give it a 5-Star rating overall."
"Really nice breakfast. Nice hotel location but got a room without windows and nothing to lay clothes or sit on ( room 316). Would expect more as an Expedia silver"
