"Hotel lobby and rooms are fresh and well maintained. I have stayed here several times because this is in a convenient location. My only complaint is that your windows badly need cleaned. Over several years, they continue to be very dirty and appear to have not been for many years. Also paying $38 and taxes adding up to a total of $43 is exorbitant. "

6/10 Okay
"My suit was large but needs major upgrades. They need to remove the carpet in the rooms and update everything. Ripped couches, the shower was stained, toilet flushes slow. Sink drains slow. Appliances are getting old but whatever. Even the balcony exterior looks old and needs updating. It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t wow and it you like a luxury feel like me then this might not be the place for you. It’s mid lol if they update the heck out of it I’ll be back if not I’m parting ways. Staff was really good and so was house keeping but the owner really needs to invest in his property. Also why is there no Jacuzzi outside? Pool was a little dirty at the bottom and all the tanning chairs were torn up. "
"
The only issue was house keeping was done at around 5:30-6:00 in the afternoon when we were getting ready to go out for the evening.
On the 2nd night I told the girl to come back in 10 minutes, she never came back. The next day nobody cleaned the room.
I told the desk and they sent somebody up to freshen up a little. They were good about it."
"I was in Dallas for the weekend celebrating my birthday and the experience at this hotel from the beginning was absolutely horrible!!! When I arrived at the hotel and checked into my room, it was extremely hot. The bathroom was dirty and the view, well there’s really no view. The room was not how it appeared online. I called the front desk staff and expressed my concerns. One of the female receptionist was rude and unprofessional. When I asked her name she said, “the letter A and the letter J. She was very snappy and showed lack of empathy for my concerns. The money I spent was not worth my stay. I check in at 4pm and by 4:06pm, I was asking for a refund so I can find another hotel. Expedia called the hotel directly and they refused to refund me. I asked to speak with the manager and went down to the front desk and here we are 2 1/2 weeks later, still no call from the manager. I would never patronize this business again. I pride myself of great customer service because I know what I give to others, Besides, anywhere my money is spent, I deserve to be respected and treated with care. I prayed and tried to make the best of it until I heard from the manager which I’m still waiting. Please consider before booking or you’ll probably end up very dissatisfied like me. "
"The room was a premium room (Roy Rogers) suite very nice balcony bathroom had a high step and the cold water bath knob wasn’t working well. The main restaurant appeared closed but there is may other options surrounding the hotel. Plus a Starbucks and an IHOP, a tavern and a Taco bar type setup.
The lobby is the best ! Huge and very spacious. Carpets seem to not get cleaned daily we arrived on a Tuesday and left late on Thursday, same small pieces of papers and stuff still on the floors in common areas.
Staff was very pleasant and helpful. There was a Alamo type of reenactment going on around 10am which was short but very interesting and informative. The area is exceptional even late at night. "
"All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast would have made the trip more better. But overall, great location and everything was within walking distance."
