"Really nice stay with a coffee shop inside. Right on Canal Street so we were able to go downtown and just walk to the room after a night out. I believe they only had Valet parking though, be prepared to pay for either Valet or parking lot"
"I liked how this hotel was as walking distance from burbon st and the rooms were clean. I hated the bathtub. It’s very old and looks dirty. Whenever we showered it would get backed up with water. Out old school projector like blinds were broke. We had to use the leftover blue tape in the room to keep the blinds up to let light in. I also hated that we were charged $50 for using a 3rd party to book."
"The nightly reception staff were not friendly. I called the hotel in advance and informed them that I would arrive at dawn. I responded 24 hours a day and asked him to come. When we arrived and checked in, the room was canceled because we were late, and the chest of drawers in the room was broken and open. There was no apology or kind response at all.
The staff cleaning the breakfast buffet restaurant and room were friendly. The breakfast buffet food was also excellent."

"The hotel is in a great location, which is the main reason I'm giving it 2 stars instead of less. However, the air conditioning barely worked, the property was not very well maintained, and the overall condition of the hotel felt dated and neglected. In addition, I found the staff to be rude and not particularly helpful during my stay. The location is convenient, but there are definitely areas that need improvement before I would consider staying here again."
"You can't beat the location - on the edge of the Quarter, across the street from the streat car line, 3 blocks from Bourbon and the St. Charles street car, walkable to the art district. My only rub is that the property charges a "destination fee" which is really a cost that should be reflected in the room rate. For this "destination fee" you get $15 to spend each day at the hotel - which you have to spend and it doesn't roll over. I'm not a fan - it isn't transparent and should really be reflected in the overall rate. Otherwise, the property is wonderful."
