"Great location on Galveston seawall. Only bad points hot water is not very hot at all and no microwave in your room. Great pizza spot in front of room, but no way to reheat later unless you want to go to lobby every time. Other than that, a pretty good stay for the price."
"The hotel is clean, beautifully decorated, has a pool and bar area, shops with great clothing and accessories, kind, patient, respectful, and helpful staff. My room was spacious, cleaned daily, had a great ocean view, and had double sinks in the bathroom. It is close to the ocean with a great view and is also close to nearby restaurants. I truly enjoyed my stay. I highly recommend the San Luis Resort and Spa in Galveston, TX."

"We stayed there for a quick getaway to Galveston. The pros- very close to the Seawall, very pet friendly, nice staff.
The cons- hotel is very outdated and rooms could use some work as they weren't very clean."
"The place was run down. I came in late and felt unsafe. Things were broken everywhere. I am pretty sure that criminal activity was taking place there. I left after the first night and asked for a refund."

"Roaches here. Prices twice the price of other hotels on the block. The beach front rooms are partial street view, partial view, very deceptively advertising and photos. Beware!"
