"Rude staff: The hotel's rooftop bar is open to the public and - by the staffs' own comments - have had issues with unpleasant "clientele" (not paying bar tabs, restaurant bill etc). You can expect to be interrogated by doormen whether you're actually staying at the hotel, be required to pay the food bill before you've even started eating and elbowed out of the way to restock the buffet breakfast.
Rooftop bar: Food is genuinely awful, probably akin to a microwave meal. Any ambience is destroyed by tourists thrusting their camera over your shoulder to get a better photo of the view. It's also incredibly busy.
Pool isn't open until June, so bear that in mind if that's a factor in choosing this hotel."
"We had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, making it easy to relax after a busy day. The hotel was quite lively and full of tourists, which created a fun atmosphere, and the staff were always helpful and attentive despite how busy it was.
The main lobby always had activities going on, and one highlight was getting to watch an Atlético Madrid match on the projector—it made for a really fun and memorable experience. The taxi service at the hotel was reliable and convenient, and we always felt safe during our stay. Plus, the location was great, with plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance so we had time to explore Madrid.
Only negative was that the pool was not open as it opens on the 1st of May so keep that in mind but there is a great patio upstairs for you to enjoy. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and a great choice for travellers looking for a lively and well-located hotel."
"Good size room and bathroom. Breakfast was a good selection. Rooftop bar had excellent views. Reception staff were very helpful. Location was exceptional."
