Park Plaza London Riverbank
10/10 Excellent
"Acoustics in reception could be better. The distance between me and the person behind the desk was quite distance, coupled with the fact that it was quite echoey and there was background music. I don’t class myself as hard of hearing but was really struggling especially when staff are quietly spoken and have an accent (I’m from Italian background and good with accents). Just something for you to consider (I checked in at 10pm if that helps)"
"I have stayed twice before and had beautiful stays in lovely, fresh feeling rooms. However, this time my room was on a heavily used corridor which created a lot of noise and through traffic. The room felt tired, dark and sadly overlooked an internal courtyard/rooftop which just wasn't pleasant. The WiFi was temperamental with some of my devices. The shower this morning was far too hot, even on the coolest setting, it was release a suitable temperature but then suddenly change to an alarmingly hot temperature without moving the dial. Breakfast was fine but some of the hot buffet food was cold. I have stayed three times now but sadly would probably not return again, it is time to explore other options which is a shame as I am often here for work. "
"This was my second time staying at this hotel for a convention. The lobby, ba,r and restaurant were perfectly fine. The staff was fantastic as always, including and especially the housekeepers.
I skipped breakfast this time because during my previous day, I was not impressed with the breakfast. The eggs basically look like they came from a powder. And the coffee was subpar. However, these are simply the opinions of one individual.
My room was well appointed, included a little refrigerator, and iron and ironing board, and was perfectly spacious for a single individual. The windows were well insulated. However, there was a lot of noise coming from the hallway. Unfortunately, there’s not a whole lot that can be done about this.
Overall, I’m more than satisfied with this hotel. "
"All I can say is that the staffs were really lovely and they made me feel welcome at the hotel. The food was really delicious that I would recommends Pan Roasted Sea Bass Fillet and Classic Fish and Chips as they were my favourite dinners."
