It's also full of great shops and restaurants, so you can spend the afternoon having a wander. Splash some more cash at Kawabatadori Shopping Street, Amu Plaza Hakata, and Hakata Riverain.

"Breakfast was great and delicious. Close to Hakata station which is great also.
It will be appreciated if extra fee for the hotel stay will be noted during the booking. Extra fee is not expensive but still it will be great if the fee is posted on their website. "
"The male receptionist was rude and attitude when processing check in. Otherwise, staff do their job but not help much outside their job. No greeting and smile."
"Very nice weekend stay, we really appreciate the generosity of staff they help make our birthday celebration special, thank you kindly for the cheesecake and candles!"
"Breakfast not offered in hotel but in restaurant 2 floors below the Lobby. Quality of food on offer 3 stars or below. We paid over $330 per night for a small room, old furniture, old carpets and mattresses on beds almost as hard as lying on bricks. This hotel in NO WAY deserves a 9.4 rating. We were very disappointed with the quality of this hotel. The only exceptional feature of this hotel was the staff. My advice is AVOID this hotel. "
