Our stay at Enotel was a bit disappointing. We had high expectations for this 5-star resort, especially since we’ve stayed at many 5-star resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean. It’s a large property, but it’s clearly outdated. Almost nobody speaks English. The TV needed repairs every day. The cleaning staff were hesitant to leave four towels for four people, so we had to keep reminding them and tipping them. The pools and beach area are great, and the restaurants offer a good variety of food options. I just wish they served more Brazilian BBQ instead of sausages and bacon. We’ll probably stay somewhere else next time."
