"Lovely check in and room/ facilities very good. 10 mins’ walk to/from New St station. Breakfast good choices/ options. Not much atmosphere for evening drink but minor matter as on the whole you will be out enjoying the city itself."

Couldn’t check in 5 minutes early.
Although the property is generally I’m good order and clean there were some issues with the air con during the stay, which seemed to stop working every 2 or so hours and wasn’t very cool, meaning the room was a bit of a sweat box when the sun blasted it.
Also a bit of a design flaw in the room only having USB-A sockets next to the bed, with no plug sockets nearby.
Breakfast was also a bit basic."
"Lights and extractor fan not working in the room. Reports of worms in the swimming pool by other guests. However, we didn’t see any worms and thought the pool and leisure facilities were fine. Moved to a different room due to lights and fan not working then ended up with bed bug bites from the mattress. (Confirmed by pharmacist) wrote a complaint to hotel about this but received no response. Would not be staying there again. Expedia tried to help with some form of refund but hotel didn’t reply to them either."
"The hotel is looking dated and tired. The bar and public area are nice enough but the rooms really need updating. My room had hardly any water pressure. It was difficult to brush my teeth let alone take a shower."
