"The room was superb, cleaned every day towels changed every day.
The staff were efficient and very friendly and the location of the hotel was ideal, halfway between the railway station and the old centre. The surroundings were vibrant but calm.
We would certainly return !"
"I very much enjoyed my stay. I would rate 4.5 I could. I ly liked the interior design of the lobby and room. It was cozy and had character. Most important thing to me was there were no bugs! My room had a little shared terrace that was an added bonus. Very happy with the mini fridge in the room. Prices are similar to a convience store so saves you the walk. I was very happy to have a cold drink ready after checking in from a long flight+train. There was water, pop, wine and beer.
Unfortunately the only down side to the room was a bit of mold in the bathroom ceiling. The building seems to have a humidity issue overall. There was construction and damage in the lobby that they were fixing which also seemed to be a water issue of sorts. So there was a humid smell in the hallways and elevator.
The hotel is located just a little outside of the main tourist area. Only a 5-15 min walk depending what you're looking for. Also found it a comfortable walk with suitcase from the train station. It maybe took 20 minutes and the sidewalks where in good condition.
The staff was super friendly. They have some suggestions ready to go with a print out and map. I was able to check in early that day at no extra cost. Also was able to leave my bag for a few hours after check out at no extra cost.
Pool has a nice seating area around. Pool was pleasant, just a little small and many guests were making use of it."
