"Emporio Ixtapa Hotel was nice. The staff is very welcoming from start to finish, the food options were good. The room cleaning was punctual like always and everyone always answered questions very nicely.
It’s not a luxurious hotel, but I would much rather stay at a central location hotel with amazing staff, good food, than an expensive hotel with the a bad beach, horrible food and workers who think they’re all that and a bag of chips.
I would stay there again and again! "

"Excellent beach view. The bath and pool towels were very old.l had a terrible experience because a termite infestation suddenly appeared in my room and I had to be moved. The lock on the terrace window didn't work."
"I traveled with two kids and my husband. Overall, we had a good time. The location is beautiful right by the beach. The beach is clean no vendors harassing you. You are just steps away from the beach. Across the street from the hotel you have little stores and restaurants. as I mentioned I traveled with kids. one of the main reasons I booked at this hotel was for the kids club. The kids club is very limited not very much activities. They only open for a couple hours. Another reason why I’m giving it three star is the lack of room service staff. The staff does not really answer the phone when you try to order and they have a charge every time you order. The choices of food at the resort were OK. The food was not bad, I just wish there was more choices. Overall, it was an ok resort. "
