"Bought two rooms for me & my friends- when I called they said unfortunately they have no connecting rooms but we were placed side by side. 1st my friends got a noise complaint for music……. It was 10:30pm on a Friday night during St. Patrick’s day weekend….. I thought that was absurd. It’s a weekend if I were other guests I think it’s silly to really expect quiet especially during a holiday. If it was after midnight or 2am. Then ok but it wasn’t.
website/ QR code pamphlet stated the resturaunt closes Friday at 11pm and that there would be “bar bites” available. That was not true. Front desk even told me they may stay open late due to the holiday, but unfortunately when we got there we were told the kitchen closed around 9pm. Bar was closing at 11pm but he stayed open a bit longer for us, thankfully. & he was very nice patient , drinks were great.
Saturday brunch I tried to order from my room, but the phone in my room didn’t work. Wouldn’t even ring out. I went to the 2nf room I had & tried to call- it worked but took forever to respond. Only one desk person on a busy weekend. I felt bad she did the best she could. I told her my room phone wasn’t working. She called maintenance & supposedly there’s nothing they can do about it. I feel they need to come up w some alternative for the rooms that can’t call out or be called in to for emergency purposes. It’s kind of important esp if my cell phone can’t reach them quickly. "
"The room and bath were very nice. The only minor issue was that there is no in-room thermometer, so it was a chilly room in March. The staff was super nice, and it was a treat to have a hot breakfast.
The only booking issue was that no where on the Expedia site did it note the floor location of the rooms. The room I booked happened to be on the 3rd floor, with fairly steep, narrow stairs (not ideal for someone with knee/hip issues). I didn't think to call the property to ask, but room location information should be posted on the Expedia site to help guests make an informed decision."
"I will stay at this hotel every time I come to Providence. Every staff person I encountered was friendly and very helpful! The hotel was modern and clean. Walking to the terminal was extremely convenient. "
