"Very comfortable stay. It’s 15 to 25 minutes drive from city centre but I would recommend taking the bus which picks up at property entrance. Good breakfast and parking. "

"The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.Breakfast and evening meals were excellent. Parking was easy. We were able to walk into town along the canal which runs along the rear of the hotel in 5- 10 minutes. Very enjoyable stay."

"Not a great choice - room was dirty and had to wait for another room , waited until 6pm ?! Over crowded and also full of children, felt more like a nursery /kids drop off than a hotel. Also car park full and overall staff were not friendly and didn’t really seem to care either "

"Checkin was horrendous. First room was unmade, there was bedlinen lining the corridors & numerous guests were irritated that their room was not ready. Checkin is at 4 but my room was not ready until. The bed was very uncomfortable & the room was cold (with a pathetic small oil heater to try & heat it). "

"The breakfast was ok normal English breakfast as per any hotel. The problem always is its never hot and this hotel was no different. I wonder when hotels realise that bay Marie or similar do not work. The room was fine but don't like the new idea of no clean rooms, now it's just top ups of what you need "
