Quick trip, I really appreciated truck and trailer parking.

Staff was great on checking us in very knowledgeable.

the place is a real log cabin,we felt safe,and very much at home.

We were an early and asked for early check in. They wanted to charge an extra $25. Not very accommodating at all. Property was nice and clean, service needed work.

The hotel room was spacious and quiet. The staff very nice and helpful. I love the continental breakfast it was different each morning. It was a great stay.

Going to Academy and this was a great place to stay. Room was really clean and hotel was in walking distance of several great places to eat. For the price you cannot beat this place or location.

My only frustration was that coffee at the front wasn’t available until 9am. As a guest who stayed only one night (overnight stop on my way somewhere) it was useless to me because I was up early to get on the road. My hunch is people who have an extended stay are already off to work before 9a.

We had a grat visit. The property is beautiful. The little town is amazing. The hiking trails are awesome (but challenging for two out-of-shape, low altitude loving Texans. Lol). My only complaint would be getting and turning in the keys to our room. The lock boxes to retrieve the keys are a bit awkward and dont seem very secure, and leaving the keys in the room and texting that you're checked out left me feeling a bit uneasy. Otherwise, everything was great.

I had booked this room as a more reasonably-priced option in the area for a family wedding, so when I opened the door to our room, I paused in shock. The room was gorgeous and looked like a $400 room, and I had to remember what we had paid which was closer to $150. We had two rooms, a kitchen and a bathroom with a separate door for the bath/shower. That makes getting ready with multiple people so much easier! Did I mention a flat screen TV in each room?? The staff was amazing! They helped me out when I was in a bind. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was usually eggs and bacon or sausage, with bagels and fruit, which was a perfect start to our busy days when we were there. Overall, very happy with our experience.

We were in town spending time with family stationed at Fort Carson. The 2 room suite was great for our family of 5 to spread out and also to have plenty of room for family to visit comfortably. Our children also enjoyed the tennis and basketball courts, which the hotel provided the accessories for both. Pool and fitness room were both really clean. Our stay at the Eagle Fire Lodge was pleasant. Our room was huge, complete with fireplace and kitchenette. The room was very clean, beds were comfortable and the location was great, right on Hwy 24, close to everything. Breakfast in the lobby was great, lots of choices, including homemade biscuits and gravy on Saturday. Would recommend to anyone visiting the Woodland Park/Cripple Creek/Pikes Peak area. Great option for families with kids.

Wasn't sure about this one as it seemed different than a normal hotel - and it was! Different in the best ways possible. I arrived late and pulled through a guard gate to an amazing country club-type setting. I was greeting in the lobby with kind and willing staff who ensured my every need was met. A quiet and convenient spot if you are visiting the Academy.

It was a wonderful place to stay and we really enjoyed it they have the laundry in the building didn't have to go out in the snow to do laundry.
