The staff put a note on the window at the front desk stating they weren't accepting new arrivals and left. No customer service at all. 😲"

"We paid extra to have a 'walk-in shower, only to find every room has the same. We are both in our 80s and there were no ground floor rooms available - ups two flights, and no elevator. The condition of the place is poor. Cheap materials and novice workmanship. Room was less than half the size shown in the photo. Vending machines only ion the foyer, took our money and gave no produce. Desk clerk claimed he could not help. NEVER AGAIN."

"Parking instruction isn’t clear. Attitude of front desk at night shift is utterly, totally, completely, terribly, unacceptably horrible. We should be treated with courtesy, not bad attitude. "

"I never liked staying in Rochester’s hotels due to the aged condition in general. Got lucky this time though, hotel is newly renovated with new carpet both in the hallway and the room. The room, though small, looked very clean with new furniture. Can’t really comment on the surrounding environment since I only stayed one night. "

"The Spark property is seemingly brand new and beautiful. The room was spacious, bed very clean and comfortable, and the bathroom excellent. The bathtub was larger than most, and clean. Breakfast offered choices and was very good. Location was safe with ample parking. All in all, the hotel far exceeded our expectations, especially for the modest cost."
