"I had a wonderful stay here, from checking in to checking out. Staff were friendly and deficient, the room was beautifully furnished, clean and roomy. It was quiet and restful, despite being in a busy spot. Not my first visit to the Leonardo, and won’t be my last."

"The cleaners only made the bed. Bins were not emptied for the whole week we were staying. The sink and toilet wasn't cleaned and most of the time the cups weren't washed-out, we washed them ourselves. We had to ask for milk. Very poor on cleaning. The hotel settees want replacing or at least re covering.The arms of furniture in tatters. Very poor. Reception staff,very polite. We wont be staying there again and came home a day early so checked out a day before we should have."

"Stayed here a few times, always pretty good, worth noting the car park is a bit of a walk away from reception which is in a seperate building to the hotel which is a further walk from reception so you will get your steps in. The rooms are well appointed with good beverages in the room, you have your own AC control and the beds & rooms are clean with a decent sized TV, WiFi is also good. The toiletries supplied appear to be good quality the shower is OK. They also offer family rooms as well as doubles as I found out on my last stay where my room had a bunk bed next to the door in - again point of note this configuration might not suit soem families as the door is easily opened from inside, the bunk beds are by the door and the view from the main bed is obstructed by a wall in this direction. I noticed the grouting in the shower was was a mouldy on this visit as was the shower mat which I reported. I have coeliac disease so cannot eat gluten or gluten-contaminated food so breakfast could have been a problem but the staff were excellent & the chef cooked me my own special plate rather than the buffet & even supplied gluten free toast - very impressed! Overall I recommend this hotel, it is good value and pleasant"

"For £30 a night, wasn't expecting The Ritz but the staff attitude were a bit to be desired. Just got the impression everything was a chore and they simply did not want to be there. Was a mid week booking so they weren’t mega booked up but just feel the staff couldn’t get bothered. "

"Rooms are spread out through a sprawling building. Lots of long corridors and up and down stairs. Having said that, the rooms are nice, bed comfy, and clean. Breakfast was also good, but not exceptional. "
