"This hotel and the surrounding area exceeded expectations. We had booked it as a stopover before continuing our journey and we could’ve stayed for days. It is high up the hill, views are fantastic and the room is new but with a traditional feel. Staff were very friendly. The location is amazing - we went to the mineral pools at Ovronnaz (5 mins away) and took the chairlift at Jorasse to get into the mountains further. There is a ton of hiking and biking and farm animals up there for the little...

"La Chamois is nestled in a truly stunning setting—mountains on all sides, towering pines, and that crisp alpine air that makes everything feel a bit more magical. The location alone is worth the stay, with trails and vistas just steps away. The hotel itself is charming and well-situated, though the walls are a bit thin, so light sleepers may want to pack earplugs. Still, it’s hard to complain when you wake up to views like that. Conveniently located close to the train station. Super friendly...
