Nice location: walking distance to the Railway Station and all the attractions. I received a suite and discount on food thanks to Expedia. The suite was very clean and had good amenities. The only thing that needs attention is the tiny, unstable space provided for putting soap and shampoo while taking a shower.

We had a fantastic stay at this property. The room was clean and comfortable. Communication with the front desk was great, we received multiple emails prior to our arrival with check in, property, and parking information. The property is located just a short walk from Cuba St. so there were tons of shopping and dining options located within walking distance. Clean room and well maintained property

Stayed here in 2-bedroom apartment with family, 2 kids on singles + 1 on a rollaway. It was an excellent choice for a family, with lots of space. Stairs in the 2-br might bother some people.

Clean room and very comfortable bed. Great location, easy to walk down to restaurants, stores and Mount Victoria Park. Decent amount of onsite parking too. Kitchenette had everything you would need.

The room had everything we needed and was clean. The hotel restaurant was very good and the staff were pleasant. The only complaint was the noise. Outside the window it sounded like loud construction all night long. Very disturbing. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and thought it was an excellent location, and close to the car ferry dock to leave for the South Island in the AM.

I don’t know what to say, really, as words would be impossible to convey the charm, beauty, and real friendliness of the proprietors! We were overnighting for the inter island ferry leaving Picton so only stayed one night but wish we had time to stay longer. The accommodations were first rate and literally everything that was needed was provided plus more. If we had lacked anything, our hosts would have gladly provided it. 5 minute walk to airport Gas station and Burger King even closer

Close to city without the pricetag. Friendly helpful staff, easy check-in and happy to oblige with extra towels and tea bags. Units older but very clean and tidy. Linen clean and fresh. Good wifi and parking. Would definately recommend to friends and family. We stayed over busy weekend for WOW and were very impressed. Thanks

Haka House was a fantastic place to stay. I was there for 10 days and enjoyed every day. The staff are incredible, especially Andreas, who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I highly recommend Haka House, and will definitely stay there again when visiting Wellington again.

I wasn't sure what to expect, because it's a hostel. You don't get your own bathroom, but they are clean and well kept. Also, if you have mobility issues, this might not be for you, since there are steep stairs to the rooms. If you're looking for a quiet place outside of the Wellington bubble, this may be a good spot.
