Very nice boutique hotel in the center of town. Room was very clean, bright and spacious enough for 2 people. Bathroom was very nice, great shower and water pressure. Very quiet, even at night when we slept with the windows wide open. Carlo was very attentive, he made great recommendations for dining, cooking classes and other sites, and always available to open a bottle of wine for us. This is a fabulous property with unique things to do that you simply cannot find anywhere else!! The cave is a must. There are swimming pools and saunas and steam room. Plus a whole host of personal body treatments. Also the grounds have hiking trails. Close to very good small restaurants and great area historical sites. Treat yourself to this amazing place at least once.
The location and views were fantastic. We had an easy 20 min drive to Lucca each day. Perfect mix of peaceful vineyard and olive tree landscape with easy access to Lucca city restaurants and shopping. Owners and staff were wonderful.
