"The whole suite just felt luxurious, Especially the Bathroom and the pool area is shared only with a few guests, so mostly it feels quiet. The breakfast was amazing, everyday they serve a different menu and you can just taste the quality in the food. The Manager Stephanie came every morning to check on all of the guests and she was very helpful and warm. Definitely recommend!!"

"Nous avons séjourné deux nuits dans la chambre "Pergola" au premier étage avec terrasse. Notre chambre était spacieuse, avec une grande salle de bains et une immense terrasse bien agréable. La wifi fonctionnait parfaitement. Le petit déjeuner n'avait rien d'exceptionnel mais était bien suffisant pour démarrer la journée. Nous n'avons pas eu le plaisir de rencontrer les propriétaires (boîte à clefs avec code). Bon à savoir : un réfrigérateur est à disposition dans la salle du petit-déjeuner....

"We had a fantastic stay 24 to 31 march 2024. The lady on reception was so kind and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. That also goes for the pool bar ladies and the guy's at the Arena bar. So friendly and food was spot on. The bungalow was spotless as were the outside area's. Lovely seafront walk to other areas too. Would definitely stop here again. I would highly recommend this lovely place."

"My husband and I wanted four nights away in the sunshine and warmth to sit and look at the sea and feel indulged and that is exactly what the hotel La Isla y El Mar gave us. Wonderful friendly and happy staff from reception to the restaurant to the bar. We even got a new cocktail on the house from David in the Kentia bar! We had a wonderful massage and couples experience in the spa. If you want to get away for a short break to the warmth and not do very much this is the perfect spot."

"Stunning hotel in a perfect location. The staff are really friendly and look after you from the minute you arrive to leaving. Food is excellent we stayed in a superior room which was on the upper floor. Room was amazing very spacious and had use of the private pool. Has to rank among the best hotels we have visited."

"The staff were excellent. The room was spotless. We had a heavy downpour on or first night which caused a slight issue with our room. The following morning I reported this to reception and she told me she would send up a maintenance man to have a look. Within 15 mins the man arrived and said we will change your room. "Excellent stay at BARCELÓ Playa Blanca, 2nd visit to Playa Blanca within 5 months. Shops, food places are in close proximity and the stunning beach is a short walk away. The staff and locals are super friendly and it feels really safe. Will make it a yearly visit with my family "
