It's coming back from the IAN but still has a lot of buildings boarded up and vacant lots waiting for redevelopment. We knew this going in but figured we could still enjoy the Beach and the businesses that were open. WE WILL BE BACK IN THE FUTURE.

Very few restaurants, beach bars. No umbrella chairs etc because few permanent buildings are standing. All parking is paid parking. We rented a cart to go down the strip, only to find that all is gone.Town square is it. Sad. Beach is great.

we love Fort Myers Beach. Despite the hit they have taken from the hurricane overall people are friendly there, and love supporting the locals.

FMB is still struggling to come back from Hurricane Ian, but the beach is still lovely and several restaurants are serving up wonderful food -- Fresh Catch Bistro, Doc Ford's, Cabana's. Still a great place overall, but miles to go before it's in full

Fort Myers beach is becomming such a turoist trap. Its like all the original mom and pop places were wiped out by the hurricane and now they are rebuilding huge resorts everywhere. Estero blvd is looking like skyscrapers only.

The beach, at best is about one quarter rebuilt. So no way near the choices you had before the hurricane.
"Property was great, several dining options. The only suggestion I have is that you leave a broom and dustpan in rooms so guests can sweep up sand and not have to have housekeeping do it. "
"Clearly they are updating, but it’s fine. The staff was exceptional! Beyond friends, checked in, smiles just genuinely seemed happy to see us, it was really nice."
