I booked this in taking my daughter up for her first year at SLU. The day before, we noticed it only had a two star rating & got nervous. I checked to see if we could back out, but we could not at such a late date. I have no idea where someone came up with 2 stars, my entire experience was awesome! I will def be back, my daughter is there for the next 4 years.
Checked in late, at ten, to find very pleasant people at the front desk. The facility was immaculately clean, and the property peaceful on a Friday night.
We just needed an affordable place to stay while visiting colleges. What we found was an affordable gem! The staff was lovely! The surroundings, peaceful. The room was dated, but more than served our needs (I mean, all we did was sleep there!) We drove 20 minutes out of our way to get there, but it was well worth it!!
I never stay in motels but I was very impressed with the Rock Ledge. The owner takes very good care of the property that dates back to the 1950’s. We got a very clean, quiet room for a good night’s sleep. It’s a Thousand Islands classic.
