Laredo is growing massively. It's still not at all a walkable city. That train may have left the station. It does have great people and great food.

Great food and shopping. You can cross into Mexico if you'd prefer since border is right there but we choose to stay on the American side.

Laredo has a lot of local restaurants with few national chains. Don't be afraid to try something new. Lots of great places to eat.

Laredo is nice because we have family and friends, and the proximity to Mexico. There is also some good food.

I lived there for 33 years, city and traffic has grown with unsafe drivers all over.
"It’s nice that the property has a nicely kept garden section, giving some greenery to look at when going in or out of the room. The price to stay there is pretty good too! Fortunately the hotel has new tv remotes because twice on 2 different occasions, I’ve had to replace the TV remote because it wasn’t working. It wasn’t user error, it was actually mechanical issues with the remote upon closer inspection. It’s weird that it’d happen twice, but I’m thankful to have been able to leave the room in better condition than how it was when I checked in. The staff have always been so professional, kind, and welcoming. In all, it’s a good place to bed down at for a night or weekend from my experiences. "
"Everything was great with friendly staff at breakfast and front desk. As with all budget hotels there were minor maintenance and upkeep notes. I would stay again no doubt. "
