Most people are so focused on nearby Sedona that they miss a lovely hike around Montezuma's Well, full of history, culture, and wildlife (a juvenile rattlesnake shot out from the bushes as my foot was coming down and I stepped on it and immediately jumped a mile high and screamed, but don't let that scare you).

"Room was spotless. Views are breathtaking. My only complaint is that the staff is not as attentive as I would like. For instance to get a ride to our room when it was 28 degrees outside would take some time. The resort was not full at all and multiple occasions it was just me and my husband waiting. Otherwise I will be back "
