Historic Downtown Lancaster
Step back in time at Historic Downtown Lancaster, where colonial charm meets modern creativity around America's oldest continuously operating farmers market. Wander cobblestone streets lined with 18th-century buildings housing art galleries, museums, and theaters. The stunning Fulton Theatre anchors a lively cultural scene while the Lancaster Science Factory offers hands-on fun for curious minds. Farm-to-table restaurants showcase Pennsylvania Dutch specialties alongside contemporary American cuisine. The walkable historic core connects easily to attractions, with brick sidewalks leading past colorful storefronts and charming boutique hotels. Catch Amish horse-drawn buggies clip-clopping through this living museum of Pennsylvania heritage.

Chestnut Hill
Chestnut Hill offers a peaceful retreat from Lancaster's busier spots with its leafy streets and well-kept homes. The neighborhood's quiet charm makes it perfect for travelers wanting to experience authentic local living. While there aren't tourist attractions within its boundaries, you're just a short drive from downtown gems like Fulton Theatre and Central Market. Finding a meal means venturing beyond the neighborhood, but downtown Lancaster's diverse dining scene is worth the trip. Stay in charming bed & breakfasts or homey vacation rentals for a genuine suburban experience. A car is your best bet for getting around this residential haven where morning birdsong replaces city noise.
West End
Lancaster's West End offers a peaceful retreat from tourist crowds with tree-lined streets and well-preserved historic homes. Art lovers can visit the Keystone Art & Culture Center, while nature buffs might enjoy a short trip to the North Museum of Natural History. This residential haven lets you experience authentic Lancaster living with charming architecture and quiet neighborhood vibes. Getting around works best with your own wheels since public transit is limited. You'll find cozy bed & breakfasts in converted historic homes, perfect for unwinding after day trips. For dining and entertainment, you'll need to venture downtown where Lancaster's restaurants and attractions await just a short drive away.
Musser Park
Historic Musser Park charms visitors with its tree-lined streets and well-preserved 19th-century architecture. Lancaster Museum of Art offers a cultural experience in this peaceful residential area. The neighborhood's namesake park provides a leafy retreat with walking paths and recreational spaces perfect for unwinding between sightseeing adventures. Dining options are limited within the neighborhood, so visitors typically venture to downtown Lancaster just 10 minutes away. Accommodation consists mainly of character-filled bed-and-breakfasts in historic homes. Though car-dependent, the area offers pleasant sidewalks for exploring this authentic slice of Lancaster life.

Dutch Wonderland Inn
"I loved my and the hotel. It was walking distance from restaurant's and the outlets. I didnt like that they advertise 3 pools and indoor pool, a family pool and an adult pool but they didnt have an adult pool."
Cork Factory Hotel Lancaster
"We loved this place. The rooms are fabulous, the beds super comfy, the pillows are excellent. Clean, and amazing decor. We walked to the Lancaster Brewing Company 7 mos away-easy and had lamb burgers, wings, and strawberry wheat ale. You could smell the berries in the drink. Highly recommend"
Lancaster Suites
"Está bonito, no es perfecto sentí un poco de humedad en la habitación, pero están remodelándolo y me imagino que quedará excelente!!"

Lancaster Arts Hotel
"The property was beautiful. Our room was large and beautifully decorated. They thought of everything- water next to bed, chocolate, night light in huge bathroom. Breakfast was very good. Staff was friendly."
Parkview Inn & Suites Lancaster
"The bed was soft. If you like soft it’s perfect. The flush on the toilet is super loud. No working exhaust in the bath. Overall the hotel is fine. We would use another hotel next time."
Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lancaster Amish Country
"Good stay. Had to check out very early due to schedule, so was unable to try the breakfast."
Country Living Inn
"Staff was very friendly and courteous, the room was very clean and plenty of parking. There is tons of shopping and places to eat in the area with beautiful farmland scenery. This motel is family owned and these are the new owners. The motel is very nice but, some areas could use a little updating and paint. Overall, I recommend this place."
