We came to see a show at the Dutch Apple Dinner Theater. Have been to Lancaster multiple times. So much in the area from trains in Strasburg, Dutch Wonderland, Sight & Sound Theater, American Music Theater to so many shopping venues & restaurants.

Great place to celebrate my birthday. Celebrating here for over 20 years going to Sight & Sound. I remember the Living Waters theater and Good n Plenty😢 Also miss the many outlets in Rockvale Outlet (QVC), Bass shoes and others.

Loved Central Market! We made quite a few purchases and everything was delicious...pretzels, scones, cheese, wrap, empanada, chocolates, caramels, etc. Staff at Swedish Candy Shop and Torres Family Bakery were SO pleasant and helpful.

We have visited Lancaster many times for shows and shopping. We enjoy our visits and our only lament is the loss of many of the Amish restaurants. The Bird-In-Hand market has remained true to its' roots, and we love it.

The outskirts of Lancaster were very pretty - lots of Farmland dominated by members of the Amish community. There are markets, activities for families, and theaters. We found several good buffets. Very enjoyable!

Sight and Sound Theater is an unforgettable experience. Plenty of nice eateries, especially Miller's Smorgasbord. Numerous thrift stores to find inexpensive clothes and household items.

Once you get away from Route 30, the countryside is beautiful. Be sure to visit the Queen Street Shops (300 block of Queen Street) for fun and unusual shopping.

This is an excellent location for a family vacation. So many things to do......lots of restaurants, shopping, music theater, mini-golf, Sight & Sound Theater (don't miss), etc. For those with kids, Cartoon Network has their first hotel there, too.
