"A great location for an overnight stay. Staff was pleasant and there was good coffee in the morning. The grounds were very nice for traveling with a dog. Our complaint was that the king room we had was so small that we could barely walk around the bed and we tend to stay in the room for the evening...will try for a bigger room next time. For the price it is a safe and clean place."

They all are professional & friendly. It’s a safe, clean hotel. The bonuses at this particular hotel include gorgeous sunrises & sunsets. Overlooking a lake that faces east. "The gals at the front desk were amazing! Super kind, courteous and professional. There was a gal, maybe her 2nd or 3rd day on the job- She was so helpful. I totally enjoyed chatting with her and her mentor. My stay was fabulous and those 2 gals really made it better!!!"

"The front desk check in guy w a s amazing. Very nice. Room was old and unkept, stain on carpet? Could hear guest above us and besides us. Breakfast was a yourgurt. And a fruit bar with a sign that inventory was extremely limited."

"Terrible stay! The place is run down and there are buckets in the hallway collecting water dripping from the ceiling. The place smells like smoke, weed and mould. We checked in very late at night and checked out first thing in the morning. "

"Facility was open 1 month. Rooms were well kept,,,bedding & bathrobes -top shelf. Room had adequate closet space ,,,,but did lack drawer space. Very large bathroom --but 2 sink vanity was on the small side. Staff was good, helpful & pleasant (some waiter service, needed more "seasoning". Town of Beacon very nice ---plenty of nice restaurants & pubs. Overall a very good experience."

"Suite room was very clean, comfortable and large spacious area with sofa and even a working desk. Kitchen is a plus and stocked with major utensils that can be used when needed. Breakfast offers variety of food choices. Check in and check out is lightning fast. Very well recommended hotel. We would definitely stay here again. "

"We wanted an overnight stay so as not to travel back to Long Island from upstate and also because it was our 51st Wedding Anniversary. In addition, we were going to Middletown the next day, June 1, 2026. This hotel was perfect in location and comfort. Accommodating and polite staff, clean and super comfortable bed, we slept very well. Satisfying breakfast especially the coffee. So we’d stay again and recommend It as well."

"I stay in a lot of hotels, and it surprised me how much better this one was for similar categories. The Breakfast room was delightful (food, atmosphere and service ). The lobby was lovely, and the elevator well placed and quick. Staff was great."

"Reasonable hotel for a short stay, we were flying from Newburgh airport which is only 15 mins away. The communal areas are in need of a refurb and had a bleach smell but the room was fairly modern and clean. Breakfast is very basic. Good number of restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Overall, I would stay here again for a similar reason but wouldn't spend more than one night here."

"It was a busy time at the hotel but each interaction I had with staff was lovely. I don’t do breakfast but would head down in the morning for fresh coffee and it was well managed, other guests seemed to enjoy it. Room was clean - although a bit funky smelling. I think it’s the deodorizer they used. Parking onsite and free. Gotta love that. Was only 15-20 minutes from Cornwall (my focus) so that was convenient. I’d probably stay in Newburgh or Beacon next trip. Not much to do around the hotel."

"Easy to get to from I84. The hotel was more than adequate, could use some updating but a pleasant place to stay with a helpful staff. There were some really good restaurants in the surrounding area and a few historic places to visit. It's also not far from Poughkeepsie."

"We love to stay at Springhill Suites, Fishkill every time we travel to New England. It is always very clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff is friendly, and its tucked away from the highway so its always quiet. The property is well maintained and we always look forward to their breakfast spread. They offer lots of choices both hot and cold and their staff is always present, refilling and maintaining the buffet area. Its probably the best hotel experience we've had in our travels. Highly...
