"The Schloss-Hotel is located in a small, beautiful and quiet town 10 minutes by car from Lucerne. The hotel is on the lake shore and offers a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. "It’s quite the uphill walk to get here but the views were worth it. Facilities were clean, rooms are on the small side and hotels in a suburban and quiet area. Service was good and gave an overview of sights in town and the bus service. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent - reasonably priced (compared to area and country), great quality and excellent portion sizes. Loved the “game” menu with local dishes. "

"A great place to stay in Lucerne. It is walkable to the alt stadt area and train station is close. Quiet area despite being downtown. There is a parking garage that makes it very nice to be able to park and unload with your luggage. Friendly and helpful staff. Would stay here again."
