The buffet style breadfast was plentiful and well cooked. The hotel is very close to the centre of town. Ideal if going to the Regent Theatre as it is only a short 5 minute walk away. "Horrendous, the photos were completely misleading I got there and it was filthy, dirty earbuds and a spoon in the wardrobe, kitchen was horrendous, I didn't even want to sit on the bed, I actually cried when I got there and I missed my uni day tried to contact the host and the were horrible z totally out of order and lied, I've never been to a place like it. And other people were in there and had all their messages everywhere,I had to spend more money getting a taxi and a room at the premier...

I rarely leave reviews up to this point but was left feeling like this 'apartment' is a room in a multi occupancy house and it felt a bit.....what's the right word......DHSS ish. I didn't use the communal kitchen as someone in there was, well a bit weird, looking disturbed. I just think I was looking for cheap and cheerful. It was cheap. "

"We stayed in a double room for the purposes of visiting Alton Towers. The location was perfect being about 40 minutes away. The room was basic but clean and comfortable with a private shower and toilet. No tv but this was fine. Downstairs had a communal kitchen and seated area which was clean. I only used facilities to make a cup of tea. Joseph (manager) was welcoming, friendly and was always nearby to answer any questions. £20 refundable deposit was required for the room key. Fireworks went...

"So i suppose the price for a night isnt bad, but when youre expecting a whole apartment aslisted and there are others there, its not so great. Stood outside door for 20mins. Not easy to get key via access code( no email before) 2 towels for 3 people, 1 was damp, 1 had a brown 'stain' on it. Bedding old and worn. Headboards dubiously stained!!!!"

"Property was clean. Not as stated entire property. Shared facilities. Bathroom via the kitchen on ground floor had child. Did not feel we could relax here as thought we had entire apartment. Outside next to little shop. Traffic island outside meant couldnt park outside and single line. Area around property made us feel unsafe- wasnt the best."
