Hotels in Pacific Beach

"Not all the tv channels worked. Did say something and nobody came and fixed it. Angel at the front desk during check in was very nice. Wasn't a fan of having to ask for a hair dryer. There is room for it. Could also put microwaves in the rooms. Too inconvenient to have to go down and use the one in the lobby. I will stay here again. Great access to the beach."

"They charge $10 plus tax for parking with no guarantee that you will have a parking spot. We had to park on the street overnight when we returned from dinner but still had to pay the parking fee. We were assigned room 115 which is literally right off of the street. It is outside of all security gates to the property. The only thing separating us from everyone walking on the sidewalk is the door to our room. Not ideal for a restful night of sleep. Paid $250+ with Hotels.com advance reservation. Not worth it."

"Fresh enough. Boiled eggs would be nice as a change to powder scrambled eggs. Some options for dairy intolerant...oat or almond milk Staff were exceptionally helpful , cheerful and accomodating. Hot tub just the right temp"

"Nice hotel with reasonable rates right off the boardwalk in north Pacific Beach. My only notable issues were that I was not told that housekeeping was on an "as-requested" basis. Fine by me, but that should have been mentioned during check-in. But what irked me more was that I requested a late check out, and was told by one person at the front desk that I would be given until noon before any additional charges applied (normal check-put is 11:00 a.m.). Mind you, I started the whole conversation by introducing myself with my full name and room number. Based on that, I then planned to depart no later than noon on my checkout day. At 11:30, while I was waiting for my ride to pick me up, I stopped by the front desk to let them know that I was still in the room, but planning on leaving within the next 30 minutes (again, introducing myself with my full name and room number). The front desk person working had no note of my "approved" noon checkout time or previous conversation. They made it sound like the late fee clock starts right at 11:31 a.m. and they were doing me a big favor by letting me stay until noon (I actually ended up leaving before that, which I was happy to do, since I no longer felt welcome). Other than those two minor issues, I would recommend that property, as along as you know what to expect. Anything that close to water shows wear and tear much more quickly than an inland property. For their prices, you have to cut them some slack on that front."

"The smell of mold was overwhelming in our room. We tried to get used to, but with our allergies, by 2 am neither of us could hardly breathe. We weny outside, then thought maybe we could sleep in our vehicle but it wad too noisy with traffic. Unfortunately we didnt get any sleep and felt quite sick from the terrible odor in the room. There was black mold between tiling in the bathroom which is hazardous to anyone. "

"Great beach, coffee shop, restaurants everything is close. The pool small and not working and no hot tub. Location great and room with Oceanview very nice. If you want location an excellent spot if you want amenities like a pool go somewhere else. "
