"Fantastic hotel and staff. Felt like our home in Paris. Great location for transport- A short walk to 3 metro lines -(stations) Assessse, Anvers, pigalle & Barbes-Rochechouart. These stations got us around most of Paris. "

"The hotel was in a great location. It was near restaurants and souvenir shops. It was walking distance to moulin rouge, louvre, arc de triumph and notre dame. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly."

"We had a wonderful stay at Villa Sopi. The staff were all fantastic and very accommodating - we arrived in Paris early and they had our room ready for us before the regular check in time. The room was very clean and spacious, and the air conditioning a blessing in the summer heat! Everything in the room was very modern. The bed was super comfortable. Location was excellent - we were able to just walk to Gare du Nord, and it's also close to the metro. Would definitely stay again."

"Everything beautiful especially situated in a very nice Parisian neighbourhood. Just a walk down to the shops!! Only one small downside, the lift only fits one person with two bags. So plan early when you are leaving the hotel to the airport. If not you are in for a bit of a wait. Overall a very nice stay. Love the water and coffee machine at the bottom near the reception. And security is good. Tap in to enter after 8.30pm. Thanks Hotel Helussi!"

"The staff were very welcoming, the room was emaculate and the breakfast hearty. The location is central Monmatre and the Sacre Coeur five minutes walk away. The nearest Metro I An era is in the doorstep. An excellent find. "

"Ah, the classic Parisian hotel experience — and Hotel Ernest delivers it in full, for better and for worse. The photos look fantastic, and the hotel itself is charming enough in person. But if you're expecting the rooms to match what you see online, prepare to recalibrate. The rooms are genuinely tiny — even by Paris standards. Unpacking a large suitcase becomes something of a puzzle, and moving around requires a little creativity. That said, this is Paris, and central Paris at that. Small rooms...

"VERY clean hotel with a large room and bathroom, conveniently located within walking distance of the major train stations. Easy walk to the Louvre and even the Eiffel Tower (my husband and I are big walkers, so we found this was in range). Will stay at again next time in Paris."

"Regular in Paris and loved this boutique hotel. Conveniently located in central Paris, 10-15min walk to Gare du Nord, walking distance to the Opera. Modern rooms, nice common space, very helpful reception team. Amazing cafes and bakery shops at Rue des Martyrs only 5min walk."

"Just five minutes' walk from the Gare du Nord so it's great if you're arriving by Eurostar. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My room was quite small (well, this is Paris) but clean and comfortable. Nice to have a bath. Breakfast was basic but had all you'd probably want."

The hotel is showing its age in places and the air-conditioning struggled with the heat but the room was comfortable enough. We had an early Eurostar train out in the morning so we couldn't stray too far from Gare du Nord, and especially in those circumstances this proved a good pick: well connected, fairly quiet neighbourhood, but some nice bars and restaurants in walking distance. Would definitely stay again."

Breakfast was basic, but ok for the price. 20 minutes walking distance from the Palais Garnier where the main shops are situated. 2 minutes from Gare Du Nord and Gare L'est train stations and Metro, so a great location to be based."

"Really nice hotel, with comfy beds and powerful shower. Fridge and safe in room. My daughter and I stayed in a twin room, which was ample space for us. Goodxair conditioning. We had the €12 Euro buffet breakfast which was good. We had travelled on eurostar from London and picked this hotel as it was close to the station (gare de nord). Its also even closer to gare d'est. The only downside is the area. Its not the nicest, prettiest. Travelled with others who had not been to paris before...
